Solid or engineered?
Solid for rooms above grade where you want to refinish over the years. Engineered for wide planks, basements, and over concrete, because the layered core resists seasonal movement.
Can hardwood go in a kitchen?
Yes with care, but many customers choose waterproof vinyl plank for kitchens and keep hardwood for living areas. We will show you both.
Do you refinish existing floors?
Ask at the showroom. Where an old floor is sound, refinishing can be an option; where it is not, we quote replacement.
How long does a hardwood installation take?
The wood acclimates in your home for a few days first, then installation is typically one to three days depending on rooms and finish type.
